SOLAS Safe Pass courses suspended
SOLAS has instructed all Approved Training Organisations (ATOs) and Safe Pass instructors to temporarily suspend Safe Pass courses.
SOLAS’s parent department, the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science has informed SOLAS that Safe Pass courses fall within the Government’s most recently announced public health restrictions and therefore Safe Pass courses will be suspended
All Safe Pass training will cease from 18.00hrs on Friday, 8 January 2021 until Monday, 1 February 2021.
All card applications currently within the system and courses delivered up to and including the 7 January 2021 will be processed and SOLAS has asked ATOs and tutors to distribute these cards in the usual manner.
Safe Pass card replacements will continue to be provided by SOLAS through its online services.
NISO will issue further information and updates to follow as it becomes available.
