H&S ABC: An easy guide to health and safety
A newly developed range of tools and guidance from the UK’s Health and Safety Executive (HSE) aimed at helping SMEs and small businesses manage their health and safety requirements. While the legislation is UK-based there is good general health and safety tips, advice and ideas to simplify H&S management.
This new resource has three main features:

Safer and healthier work at any age data visualisation tool
This data visualisation tool highlights the key findings of a project carried out by EU-OSHA at the request of the European Parliament, aimed at understanding occupational safety and health (OSH) in the context of an ageing EU workforce.
It provides an accessible visual presentation of data on demographics, employment, working conditions, and health in the context of an ageing workforce, and of OSH and related policies addressing the challenges.

Managing Workplace Bullying Complaints
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has launched a free short online course aimed at assisting employers in managing workplace bullying complaints. It can be accessed through the HSA e-learning portal http://hsalearning.ie. The 30 minute online course will help employers and managers to understand the nature of bullying complaints and to deal with them appropriately.

EPA web portal – radon.ie
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has launched a new web resource, radon.ie. This web resource contains comprehensive information on radon for householders, employers, schools, builders, housing authorities, health specialists and home buyers and sellers. Also available on this resource are radon infographics, publications, FAQs, radon control strategy, radon data, radon campaigns, national radon forum and radiation dose calculator.
