The Online Safety Quiz Qualifier 2026 is open for entries.
This is a free, online and light-hearted way to promote health and safety awareness in your workplace – a bit of friendly competition with minimal disruption to the working day.
Winners of the Online Safety Quiz Qualifier can proceed to the All Ireland Safety Quiz Finals taking in place in Cavan on Saturday, 18 April 2026.
Date: Wednesday, 25 March 2026
Time: 13:45 (maximum 1 hour)
Venue: Online via Zoom
Entry Fee: Free
Workplaces are welcome to enter multiple teams (Minimum of two and maximum of four players per team).
The quiz is suitable for employees across the organisation – including safety representatives, first aiders and fire wardens – and particularly those without a formal background in health and safety.
It is not aimed at health and safety professionals (e.g. Safety Officers/Managers), however their support in mentoring teams is encouraged.
Questions are primarily multiple choice and designed to be accessible and engaging rather than overly technical. The emphasis is on participation, learning and a bit of craic.

Winning teams from each NISO region will go forward to the Finals.
