Housekeeping Assistant [Temporary, Part Time] – Office based – 4 month contract

An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Assistant for a 12 hour week, 3 mornings a week; 9am – 1pm or 9.30 – 1.30pm. Some flexibility required.

Key Responsibilities of this role are:

  • to greet all guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • to conduct cleaning tasks on a regular schedule
  • to conduct kitchen duties and room set-up
  • to maintain rooms in a clean, safe & presentable condition at all times
  • to ensure cleaning and catering stock integrity is maintained at all times
  • to ensure strict adherence to all hygiene processes and procedures for the offices
  • to liaise with external organisations with regard to cleaning and catering supplies
  • to assist with postal duties such as packing, sorting, franking and making postal arrangements
  • to act as a backup for reception and office duties
  • to conduct any other duties which may be assigned

The ideal candidate for this position will:

  • have previous experience
  • have a professional and friendly approach
  • have excellent attention to detail
  • have excellent time keeping skills
  • have a good level of spoken English
  • be standards driven and detail-orientated
  • have good self-presentation
  • ideally have hygiene training [an advantage]
  • ideally have manual handling certification [an advantage]
