ISO 45003:2021 – Psychological health and safety at work — Guidelines for managing psychosocial risks
This is a guideline standard and is expected to be used along with ISO 45001. This guideline is issued so that organisations should consider measures to manage psychosocial risks. As the name suggests, the standard provides guidance for employers and organisations on how to best look after mental health and factors that put it at risk at work – psychosocial risks.
Presentation will comprise following topics for discussion –

WHAT IMPACT WILL ISO45003 HAVE ON MY ORGANISATION?
WHAT DO COMPANIES NEED TO DO NOW?
Presentation 2 – Health & Safety Liabilities: Legal Issues & Requirements
Health and safety laws apply to all employers, self-employed people and employees in their workplaces. This includes fixed-term employees and temporary employees. Broadly, the employers’ obligations can be summarised as Providing safe systems of work, Providing a safe place of work, Plant and machinery that is safe and fit for purpose, Training and supervision and a duty of care in the selection of fellow employees. This presentation will also cover legal liabilities for management and briefly discuss accident costs.

Certificate of Attendance:
Participants who have successfully completed the training will be issued with a NISO certificate of attendance.

Seminar Speaker:
Finbarr Stapleton
Senior QEHS Consultant & Lead Tutor
Finbarr is a Senior QEHS Consultant, Lead Tutor, and a highly qualified and experienced trainer. He joined Antaris in 1994 and since then, has successfully assisted a large number of companies in implementing health and safety, environment, energy and quality management systems and achieving certification to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 9001. Finbarr is an excellent tutor and has designed, developed and delivered numerous training courses in the area of Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems and Auditing.
Finbarr acts as an agreement support manager/mentor with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) for the public and private sector. Finbarr is the lead tutor on a NEBOSH Diploma training course offered in conjunction with SQT.
