Our Staff

NISO’s Secretariat is based at NISO’s head office in Ballymount, a couple of minutes from junction 10 off the M50 in South Dublin. It’s managed by Ted O’Keeffe, General Manager, who reports to the Executive Committee. The Secretariat’s role is to:

  • Manage NISO’s day to day activities including serving its members, replying to enquiries, organising and developing training courses, organising seminars, the annual safety conference, the occupational health & safety awards and other events.
  • Update policies and procedures and ensure they are adhered to the required quality standards.
  • Support the regional committees by providing resources as well as administrative and promotional documentations.
  • Implement executive committee decisions.
