Training FAQs

Why should I choose NISO for my safety training course?
Promoting Safety in Irish workplaces has been our business since 1963. During these 50+ years, we have informed and continue to inform participants on our courses, as well as our members and non members, of the latest health, safety and welfare legislation, guidelines and practices.

We share what we know and seek the best professionals and the best instructors to do the same.

What is NISO?
NISO is a national not for-profit membership based organisation promoting occupational health and safety. You can find out more here.
What can I expect when attending a course at NISO Training Centre in South Dublin?
We are a small not-for profit organisation. From your first enquiry to the end of your training course, we are available during office hours to answer your questions and support you to complete the course and pass the exam.

For training courses longer than a day, we provide a training pack. We recommend you review after each day what you’ve learned to make sure you take in what has been covered.

When there is something you do not understand, do not hesitate to ask your instructor or a staff member.
